We are happy to invite you to lovely and beautiful Georgian autumn, to share dance, space and presence in the sixth edition of Silent Contact Jam. A week of dance in full silence, awesome mountain nature, natural food and amazing people from all over the world.
Held for the first time in 2018, Silent Contact Jam will take place from September 23 to 29 this year. It is a week of contact improvisation without a word. We plan immersive labs, focus jams, group one-on-ones and always open to creative suggestions.
Everyone will have a bed with linens, hot showers and 3 nourishing meals a day. If your dietary requirements need to be met, please be kind and write it in the text box. There’s no word during a week, so no phones. No, you can’t skip it.

In silence, unable to verbally construct and project our usual self-image onto the social fabric of the festival group, we surrender to the unity of contact dance, allowing ourselves to dissolve in it and acquire a new identity. We observed that by limiting one mean of expression and giving full rights to the body to communicate, we become more attuned with our intuition, heighten our awareness and deepen our sensory perception.
